In her own words:

Start-up

When I was in high school in a remote Northern mining town in Quebec, Canada my English Literature teacher had our class do a 30 mile walkathon as a fundraiser for a field trip.  To raise additional funds, I walked the last mile in my stocking feet! – an added element of fun. This was my first introduction to thinking outside the box and digging deeper!  Did I mention that I was the top fundraiser!  Thank you to my father who raised the funds and to Ms. Filion who organized the fundraiser – my first success coaches.”

Achievement

“Since then I have experienced an amazing life for a miner’s daughter.  I obtained a university degree and enjoyed a career on Parliament Hill that culminated in jointly overseeing a committee of the Senate and the House of Commons on International Relations.  When I switched careers to real estate I attained “top producer” status for four years in a row!   I’ve lived in another country and added “pocito” Spanish to my English and French language fluency.”

Travel

“I love experiencing new cultures.  I have traveled to all ten provinces and two territories.  I have toured Europe and lived in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico.”

Family Relationships

“I have been married (happily) to the same man for 21 years and I am a member of a beautiful blended family.  Dan and I have four children and now enjoy three amazing grandchildren. “

Recovery

“I  have been living in recovery from alcohol addiction  for 17 years. I have a sound understanding of the 12 step, harm reduction and recovery coaching models of recovery.  I  believe that recovery is an individual process and that what works for one person does not necessarily work for another.”

Life is Now

“I recognize the value of living now – later may be too late.  Both my parents passed away in their fifties, never having had a chance to enjoy a planned retirement.

I believe that my cumulative life experience, talents, and genuine caring for people have created the coach in me.  I am passionate about people creating a joyful life and living that joyful life now.”

In the words of George Eliot – “It is never too late to be what you might have been.”

And in the words of Coach Susan Klein “It is never too early either”.
